Rabbit Vaccinations

We recommend that rabbits are vaccinated against myxomatosis and viral haemorrhagic disease (VHD). This consists of 2 vaccinations.  A first ‘Triple’ vaccine to cover Myxi, RVHD1 and RVHD2.  Then a second newer vaccine, at least two weeks later, to cover a new highly virulent strain of RVHD2.  Both vaccines should be repeated on an annual basis'.
