Personal Info: Anita has worked at our Northwood branch since shortly after it opened and is the longest standing member of staff! Anita has a meticulous eye for detail and has built up great relationships with both our Blythwood patients and clients and all her colleagues. Anita has decieded to reduce her hours of late due to family commitments, but we hope she will stay with us part time for many years to come.

Personal Info: Ros is a Receptionist at our Bushey Branch and has been with us for many years, Ros has completed her Hill's Nutrition Advisor part 2, Dorwest Herbs Course and is also a Pet Insurance Advisor for Petplan. Ros works for Blythwood part time as this fits round her family commitments including two children, two dogs, two cats and one and a half horses. Ros is a helpful, caring member of our team.

Job Description: Receptionist

Personal Info: Jenny joined the team at Blythwood in January 2003, as she really wanted to return to the work she loved most, that of working with animals. Jenny was trained as a Veterinary Nurse by the PDSA many, many moons ago and since then trained in the medical field and worked all over the country, specializing as an Orthopaedic Theatre Nurse. Since moving to London 8 years ago Jenny set up and ran her husband's private medical practice. She has attained her Hills Nutrition Course part 1 and is also a Pet Insurance Advisor and has plans to get involved in many of Blythwood projects. Jenny is a valued member of our team that everyone knows they can rely upon. .

Job Description: Receptionist

Personal Info: Jane has been a receptionist here at Blythwood since July 2004. She spends her time mainly between the Hatch End & Bushey surgeries, but has been known to pop up at Stanmore and Northwood too. Helping out at Puppy classes on Thursday evenings over at Northwood is somewhere else that you will often see her and it's something that she enjoys doing. Jane owns 2 "rescue" dogs - Meg (a Jack Russell Terrier), and Conner (a Bichon Frise) and they tend to keep her busy and on her toes most of the time! Jane tends not to take life too seriously and can normally be heard laughing from miles away!

Job Description: Receptionist and behaviourist

Personal Info: Caroline graduated from Anglia University, Cambridge in 2002 with a first class honours degree in Animal Behaviour and Psychology. She joined the Blythwood team in April 2006 to work part-time on reception, but her main role is now as the behaviourist to the practice, as well as running the puppy classes. Caroline offers behaviour consultations at the Stanmore and Northwood clinics and takes referrals from Blythwood, Well Animal Clinic and several other veterinary surgeries and dog rescue charities as well as seeing private clients. Alongside this she runs a pet-sitting business from her home in Buckinghamshire. Caroline enjoys travelling and took a round-the-world trip in 2005 and then spent 6 weeks working on a wildlife research expedition in South Africa in 2007. When she has any spare time Caroline helps her partner Jonathan with his event horses and enjoys spending time with their two dogs, Tadpole the Lurcher and ?bad-boy? Terrier, Freddie.

Personal Info: Pat is a part time receptionist based at our Bushey and Northwood Branches. Together with family commitments, she has enjoyed working in veterinary surgeries for the past twenty five years. In 1995 she gained her Certificate as a Relationship Counsellor and she also has an interest in Pet Bereavement counselling. During her spare time Pat enjoys new challenges, relaxing with friends and going to the theatre. Pat has a white and tabby rescue cat called Tilly and extended family cats Boris a Siamese/rex cross rescue and Hattie a rescue tabby.

Personal Info: Sam has worked at Blythwood Bushey part-time for over a year, whilst studying 'A' levels, assisting on reception and with general veterinary nursing duties. He has experience of working with exotic and small animals since the age of 14 and is now at university studying for a Zoology degree but comes back to help during term breaks. He has a vast array of pets including a rescued Dogue de Bordeaux / Great Dane X (Jacque), a working Labrador (Marley), two Red Rat Snakes (Frank & Benny), a Bearded Dragon (Bob), two Hooded Rats (Trinny & Susannah), two Gold Fish (Bug & 101) and a Welsh Section C Horse (Marshall).
